ADAPTER Thread SIZE NOTES and Comments:
There are lots of mis-information on thread sizes vs rubber tubing OD's out there in Forums and Dive sites. This Part is made to be a True 16mm-1mm Thread Class 6g.
The Female threaded hole on your muzzle should measure around ~15mm (e.g. a 14.9 - 15.1mm solid Pin should just fit inside the internal threads).
If your threaded muzzle hole measures ~13mm, then you most likely need a 14mm-1mm Adapter, and NOT this part. See other Adapter 14mm-1, B3018-1.
I've seen Muzzles and band call out for "16mm threading". This jargon is totally misleading and confusing. I purchased one of these muzzle parts to verify what that term meant and it is a 14mm-1 thread that I measured.
My only thought on this confusing language is that the Rubber Tubing OD is 16mm, then it is assumed to be "16mm threading". Yes, I Rolled my Eyes too. |o)
